This doggy photoshoot with the Pearce’s black labrador puppy was extra special!

Here’s why:

  • It’s a lab! (If you know my story, I have a HUGE soft spot for labs and retrievers)

  • I got to photograph a puppy! Who doesn’t love puppies? The mom that has to potty train it ;-) And even then, puppy eyes win the day.

  • The whole family joined the photoshoot and we got to make updated family portraits for them.

  • They drove all the way from Awhitu to have them taken in Hobsonville Point. I’m so grateful for my clients and know how much these photographs mean to them.

  • Their most adorable little boys with the nicest manners sat in front of my lens with the cutest little smiles and brother hugs.

  • Brittany was expecting her baby girl so I got to create a special maternity portrait for her.

  • In any circumstances, if you think you’ll be photographing a family of four, two of which is small boys PLUS a puppy, most photographers will head for the hills or start making their list of ways to make this work and keep everyone happy. Know what I mean? All of us, me included, had an incredible time. We had the most fun and got all the photographs we wanted plus more. Give me all the kids and animals. This makes my heart happy.

These are some of my favourite photographs from this dog and family photo session.

Love, Salome
