Jo booked a dog photography photoshoot with me to treat herself for her birthday. She had her hair and makeup done beautifully before she stepped into the spotlight to join Betsy Boo, her adorable labraspoodle, in front of the camera, so she looked perfect to head out for special celebrations that evening. It was such a fun, happy and relaxed photoshoot, I love how it turned out.
We shot at her home in Grey Lynn in Auckland and once we got all the studio type portraits of her and Betsy and Betsy’s individual pet portraits, we went for a walk close by. There is usually 2 parts to a pet photoshoot with Yellow Lab. The second part of their photoshoot, were shot at Auckland Domain. Her husband couldn’t be there for the photo session, so I’m glad he met us at the Domain so we could make a family portrait for them. 10 minutes later Mike was on his way again and Jo, Betsy Boo and I carried on making beautiful photographs of their special bond and friendship under the cherry blossom trees in Auckland.
