We’re heading straight into autumn, the past few weekends have been a doggo’s paradise in Auckland with the many dog events going down, but this coming Saturday is The. Dog. Event. Of the YEAR!
The Big Dog Walk
It takes place every year where we dog lovers all go for a walk at the same time on the same day in lots of different cities (Auckland, Wellington AND Christchurch). Even if you don’t own a dog, just borrow someone’s dog. Main requirement: you just have to really love dogs!
Come have your dog’s photo taken!
Yellow Lab Dog Photography (that’s me!) will be taking photographs at the Auckland Big Dog Walk event on the day. I'll be moving in the crowds of wagging tails and smiling faces, so look for the lady dressed in black with a big yellow camera bag, say hi and ask for your dog's photo.
Be sure to grab your bandana to support the chosen doggo charity. 100% of the income goes to charity - each one is $10 and can be worn 3 different ways.
Thanks to the sponsors Omega Plus, there will be spot prizes and giveaways.
There will be human food stalls for the dogmom and dads to grab a bite and doggy centred stalls to shop and treat your furry friend at.
There will also be music afterwards, so pack a picnic blanket and chill with your favourite furry best friend and family.
Weather forecast is looking good for Saturday, fingers crossed, it looks like the rain will stay away.
