We're all feeling a little anxious and unsure right now, so like our dogs always bringing a happy smile to our faces, I'm trying my best to create something happy online, where we can go for a good cheering up session and where we can escape from reality.

I've created a photo challenge on my instagram page to keep us creative and in a positive headspace and to make friends online and build community. I hope you can join. NO rules, only fun. If you don't post one day, it's totally cool! Tag me @yellowlabpetphoto on instagram to make sure I see it so I can share it to my stories and also use #ylphotochallenge so others can find your post.

I have some super fun news regarding this challenge.

4urpaws has sponsored 4 bandanas to cheer up 4 people and their doggos. So if you post and take part in the challenge, you have a chance of winning a sweet stylish bandana to rock out on your next walk around the neighbourhood.
A winner will be announced once a week, each week for 4 weeks.

Find 4urpaws on instagram here

The challenge starts today

If you miss out and can't post today, post tomorrow. Play catch up or simply post day 2 or whichever we're on.
The beauty of this, is that there are NO RULES! This one is for fun, if you skip a day, post two photos for one prompt, draw a picture, take it with your big camera that you never (hardly ever) use or use your phone.
You really don't even need to be posting photos of your dog, it could be your cat, your goldfish, your kids or your houseplant. No one is going to tell us what to do with this challenge. It's to keep our creative brains going and keep a good headspace. It's to connect with other likeminded people who are in the same boat, build community and make friends. Friends we could even meet once we're allowed to leave the house again.

Thanks for reading - good luck & give your dog a cuddle from me.

Love,

Salomé
