If you were in Parnell this morning, you'd think the streets have gone to the dogs. It was the Year of the Dog dogwalk! Chinese New Year 2018 and The Year of the Dog were celebrated WITH our dogs! Together with The Strand Vet and Central Bark, loyal and happy friends met for an amazing walk around Parnell to see the dog inspired art works scattered around local businesses in Parnell's shop windows.

The sight of 50+ dogs and their owners walking together stopped traffic and the waggy tails and general happiness rubbed off on every passerby. Everyone who laid eyes on the dogwalk was smiling brighter.

My favourite part as the photographer of this awesome event, were the moments when I photographed a doggy, and then another would lick my cheek to get my attention for his photo to be taken too. It happened a bunch of times and I just loved the cuddles and the opportunity to get out and enjoy the gorgeous new artworks!
