You know, NOTHING is friendlier than a wet dog! ;-D Especially a bunch of wet dogs coming together at the beach for a social and a get together. I left with dirty boots, sand sticking to my dress and a very happy heart to have spent the morning with gorgeous dogs.
Before the walk started, Jordan from Define Canine gave pet parents his dog training tips. Once we got our daily step count in, everybody met back at Takapuna Beach Cafe where like last week's walk the doggies were treated to Barkbag's dog brews. Harvey from DoggieShare especially LOVED sneaking in a few sips as he's on a very special diet and not allowed.
The Big Dog Walk With Lots of Dogs is hosting more of these kind of events in Auckland within the next few weeks. There will be another walk this Sunday (2 July) at Meola Reef Dog Park. Hope to see you there. If you're there, come say hi and have your dog's portrait taken! I'll be the one with the camera.
