We're expecting, again! And we're thrilled and happy beyond all words. Truth be told though, I know how much work one little baby is, and seeing as this is our second one....... I'm terrified.

It always seems to take a few weeks before I get the nerves together to write the first post of the year. Here's me breaking the ice on a funny note. I'm sharing the best funniest things I've seen on YouTube the last little while. Some of it might be old, but seeing as it was the first time this year that we saw it, you might be in the same boat. ;-)
Enjoy it friends, make sure your sound's on!
PS May 2015 be really awesome and SO, so BIG. Go out and make amazing memories and have great adventures!
PPS Yellow Lab will return to normal posting by next week. Expect tons of photo shoots, freebie downloads, DIYs and new things from us this year. It's going to be the best one yet! :-)
Merry Christmas to all our readers and friends. We wish you a joyous festive season!
Thank you to each and every one of you who supported us this past year. Without you Yellow Lab will only be a dream. Thank you to every one who booked a photo shoot with us and who used our design services. And thank you, even if you just left a comment on a blog post. We loved sharing our passion for beautiful images and our journey with you. We appreciate you! Enjoy all the drinking and eating too much, but most of all, enjoy just relaxing and spending time with your family and loved ones.
This is our last post for 2014. You can still reach us via email at email@example.com however we'll only check our mail again on 6 January 2015 and get back to you then.
2015 holds new dreams and exciting things so be sure to check back to the Yellow Lab blog.
Have a fabulous one friends. Safe travels and see you in 2015!
Love, Odin, Poppy, Lily, Salomé and Jonathan
PS. Remember to take lots of pictures. If you don't have a big fancy camera with you, use your phone! Cause if you didn't photograph it, it didn't happen ;-) A bad photo is ten thousand times better than NO photo.
PPS. Even though we're on holiday, we'll still be Instagramming and sharing pics from our holiday on Twitter. So if you want to see the labbies and the little dude's first reaction to seeing the beach and the sea for the FIRST time, FOLLOW!

- Happy for old blog posts like this that let you relive moments.

- Excited to be celebrating the little dude's first birthday soon.
- Childishly excited about an upcoming holiday. We are planning on taking the entire family AND the yellow labs to the beach. The labs are going to FREAK. OUT! Can hardly wait!

As a photographer, I often find myself in need of a joke. I might need it as an ice breaker, to get people to relax a little more with a camera in their face or to try and get someone to laugh. I LOVE to capture people laughing.
The problem was though, that I didn't have very many jokes that I could easily remember and the one joke I could remember wasn't particularly funny. So I asked a bunch of friends if they knew any jokes and I wrote them down furiously as the punchlines were thrown.
Now I can quickly refer to them in my notebook and memorize a few before a photo shoot. I enjoyed laughing at them so much I thought I'd share some and brighten up your day too.
What's yellow and incredibly dangerous? Shark-infested custard.
Why don't blind people go sky diving? It scares the hell out of their dogs!
What did the snowman say to the other snowman? Do you smell carrots?
What is blue and white and sits in a tree? A fridge wearing blue jeans.
How do you know there was an elephant in your fridge? There's footprints in the butter.
What is red and goes up and down? A tomato in an elevator.
What do Eskimos get when they sit too long on ice? Polaroids.
What do you call in alligator in a vest? An investigator!
What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back? A stick!
P.S. What's your go-to-joke when you need one? Please share in the comments.
